I’m just saying, if Kristen Stewart’s life and career are ruined by this bizarre cheating scandal while Chris Brown continues to make money, we have failed as a society and everyone should feel deeply ashamed of themselves.

The pay is ok, they know you’re a college kid, not someone paying a mortgage and providing for a family of 4. I worked in a resort and I was paid $8.05 and hour and usually worked 32-34 hours weeks. I don’t remember the other rates but I believe the lowest rate is about $7.50. If you work in MK you get paid a little bit more. I usually saw $150-$225 every week which already had the rent taken out. I payed $89/week for rent for our 3 bedroom Patterson Court place. You can opt for a Vista Apartment which I figured for my 11 week program would have saved me $60.
It’s all about saving and budgeting. I’m a really good shopper and know how to get a bargain but I admit in Disney it’s hard. When you’re in the park and your friends ask where you want to eat it’s hard to say no, it’s Disney! and you get great discounts so you buy a lot of stuff, but you can still save. I budgeted about $50 for groceries every 1-2 weeks and I usually got enough for 2 weeks worth of groceries right under $50. I paced my souvenir buying over my DCP that way the last week didn’t show a spending of $200 or something, it was gradual.
Just be smart with your money. I knew what I wanted to get and I stuck to that. and I always found myself asking ‘do I really need this?’ and then saying no and walking away. Just put money away a little each week and your savings will grow. Enough to buy a car, i don’t know, but it’ll be a good start.

I’m such a chick flick girl but I don’t care one bit
come on I’m really bored! I’d rather answer questions and help y’all out than pack!
deep question. I’m from NJ so obviously 9/11 really hit home for me. My parents lived in NY most of their lives and they lost friends and my town lost I believe 8 people and one of my them was the father of a really good friend of mine. 9/11 was obviously a national tragedy but to the states surrounding NY it’s just on such a different level.
On that day I was in the 4th grade and our desks were all in a horseshoe shape facing the whiteboard and I was in the right corner next to a kid named Chris. We were working on an assignment where we had to write something about turning over a new leaf onto craft paper and we were all going around the room when the phone rang. Our teacher answered it and her face just went pale and she stuttered. She hung up the phone but never said anything. On the bus ride home I notice the sky had weird clouds in it, they almost looked purple. When my brother and I got off the bus my mom and a bunch of parents were there crying and my mom was trying to explain to us what happened. We walked in and on the TV was the footage of the buildings burning and coming down. We rushed off to CCD where we just talked about everything.
My dad worked in a hospital in Manhattan so he had to stay there overnight to make sure everything was ok. I’ve seen my dad cry 3 times in my life: when his dad died, when he dropped me off at college for the first time and on 9/11. And occasionally he’ll still tear up at 9/11 documentaries. Come to think of it, he’s never really talked about it.
That night I remember my little brother, he was 7 going on 8 at the time, crying to my mom asking why the buildings had to burn. Yeah we were young but we knew what happened. The weeks after that my parents were going to funerals for people, the funeral for my friend’s dad consisted of a shoebox of his things, that’s it.
It’s still a very important part in our lives obviously. My friend would come to me on an anniversary upset and just driving through the city sometimes my mom thinks about where the towers were. I’ve been to Ground Zero and let me tell you, it is chilling, absolutely chilling.
So yeah that’s that, obviously I remember it pretty well, it’s hard not to.
lucky you! the bbc here isn’t even covering anything on it. Right now it’s men’s synchronized diving
yes, yes it does.
If you’ve got ‘em, ask ‘em!
I live in the US so they air them on prime time (from about 8-12 eastern time) I follow the stats during the day as they happen but then I watch them on the tv. I know the outcomes but I like watching the events anyway!
